Description:

SOJA Group Limited supplies building materials from Suhum: cement, paints, its own SOJA-made concrete blocks and bricks, water storage tanks, iron rods, roofing sheets, pipes, door hardware and automobile parts. We built the company an online store connected to the system that runs its branches.

The challenge

SOJA trades across several stores, sells thousands of items in very different units (bags, litres, pieces, tanks), and serves both walk-in buyers and builders ordering in bulk. They needed customers to browse and order online while staff kept tight control of stock and sales across every branch.

Our solution

• Online store organised by category: cement, paints, construction blocks, water storage, iron rods, steel pipes and sheets, door locks and more
• Shopping features: cart, wishlist, product comparison and order tracking
• Mobile money checkout with MTN MoMo, Telecel (Vodafone) Cash and AirtelTigo Money
• One shop, every branch: the online store sells from all of SOJA’s stores combined, and staff choose the dispatching branch when an online order becomes an invoice
• Back-office system for products, stock, sales and branches, currently being upgraded to the Track My Business standard

The result

SOJA reaches buyers beyond its storefront while keeping one accurate record of stock across all branches. The same platform also powers Malex Pharmacy, AkroAko and Amoasco Trading.
